About
About Booka
Booka is a search-and-booking platform for summer camps across New England — day and overnight, sports, arts, STEM, and faith-based programs. Families search by location, age, and activity, then book and pay for a real session directly; camp operators manage their sessions, staff, and payouts from their own dashboard.
How we handle trust
Reviews are from real bookings
A family can only leave a review on a camp they actually booked and attended a session for — reviews aren't open to anyone, and they aren't collected off-platform.
Accreditation is shown, not assumed
When a camp is ACA-accredited, we show it on the listing — see our accreditation guide for what that badge actually verifies (and what it doesn't). Camps that aren't accredited are labeled as such rather than left ambiguous.
Camp guides are written by named people
Posts on our blog are written by specific, credentialed contributors — each post links to the author's own bio page with their background. We don't publish unattributed advice.
