North Branch Nature Center runs outdoor day camps in the forests and fields around the center in Montpelier, with teacher-naturalists leading weekly themed camps for children from PreK through 7th grade. Camps hike to a "base camp" each day, with wading and water exploration but no swimming. The center also offers Camp BranchOUT, a nature-based day camp for queer and gender creative kids ages 10-12 in collaboration with Outright Vermont.
