The Maine Youth Fish and Game Association runs a one-week outdoor day camp at its Pickerel Pond facility for ages 8 to 15, with age-separated weeks for ages 8 to 11 and 12 to 15. Activities include fishing, archery, canoeing and kayaking, wilderness survival, range safety and marksmanship, and wildlife lessons from biologists and other experts. Youths aged 12 to 15 have one overnight, and daily buses run from a school in Milford.
