The Maine Discovery Museum in downtown Bangor runs themed STEM day camps for children entering 1st through 6th grade. Level 1 (grades 1 to 3) weeks include space, robotics and coding, ocean life and art-based science, and Level 2 (grades 3 to 5) covers chemistry, physics and archaeology. An off-site art and ecology camp for grades 4 to 6 includes daily hikes at the Caribou Bog Outdoor Center in Orono.
