The University of Maine at Farmington Fitness and Recreation Center runs Summer Daze Camp, a weekly day camp for children going into grades 1 to 7. Each of the eight weeks has a history-themed program, such as Ancient Civilizations or Age of Exploration, with swimming, water games, sports, arts and crafts, hiking and field games. Wednesdays are field trip days, and campers meet at Kineowatha Park in Wilton on Fridays.
