Community Boating Inc. runs a Junior Program on the Charles River in Boston for youth ages 10 to 17 who can swim 50 yards, with classes from Beginner Sailing through keelboat, Laser and windsurfing, plus kayaking, paddling, STEM classes, an Instructor-in-Training program and a Race Team. Classes run five or ten weekdays, mornings, afternoons or full days, and are taught by nationally certified instructors. Fees follow a need-based sliding scale that covers membership, classes and boat use.
