Acera School's summer enrichment offers STEAM programs such as coding, physics, filmmaking and outdoor exploration for ages 5-14, plus a Counselor in Training program for ages 15-17. Programs run in half-day AM and PM blocks at 5 Lowell Avenue in Winchester.

Action Adventures Day Camp is run by Berkshire South in Great Barrington for children entering kindergarten through 8th grade, or up to age 14. Days combine sports, arts and crafts, cooking, gardening, drama, recreational swimming and STEM activities, with weekly themes such as S.T.E.A.M., Wizard Academy and Camp Rock. The camp runs nine weeks, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Grades 7 to 12 (about ages 11–17)

Phillips Academy's five-week on-campus academic enrichment program for rising 7th to 12th graders, with more than 70 courses and institutes plus athletics and student activities. Students can board or attend as day students, and the 2027 session runs June 29 to August 1.

A one-week morning science program for ages 8 to 12 with shark anatomy and ecology labs, research demonstrations, art and engineering challenges and a spiny dogfish dissection, run by the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy. Only one session was offered in 2026 (July 13 to 17).

Ages 5–14

Day camps on the 34-acre lakeside Bancroft School campus in north Worcester for campers entering kindergarten through grade 8, open to families outside the school. Programs include general day camp, academic camps in reading, writing, math and leadership, specialty camps such as robotics, musical theater and coding, athletic camps and a Counselor-in-Training program. Campers swim at the Greendale YMCA across the street.

Ages 3–15

ACA-accredited day camp run by Belmont Day School for ages 3 to 15, with a general day camp in four two-week sessions, Journeys day-trip camp for grades 5 to 8, specialty camps and one-week sports camps. Every group has daily swim lessons and afternoon free swim, and the camp reports more than 350 campers on site each day. The summer program is described as well into its eighth decade.

Blue Hills Nature Camp is a Mass Audubon day camp based at Blue Hills Trailside Museum on Chickatawbut Hill, with access to the 7,000-acre Blue Hills Reservation. Campers ages 5 to 15 explore nature through hands-on activities, art and daily hikes, in age groups from Chickadees to Teen Adventurers. The camp states it is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA-accredited) and uses a sliding-scale tuition based on family income.

The Boys & Girls Club of Plymouth runs a weekday summer program for ages 6 to 13, with a counselor-in-training option for ages 14 to 15, built around weekly themes from science to design and construction. Days include art, science, gym, outdoor play and a computer lab, with most field trips, meals and snacks included in the fee. The program is licensed by the Plymouth Board of Health.

Camp Atwater is a residential youth camp owned and operated by the Urban League of Springfield, which describes it as the oldest African American-owned and operated residential youth camp in the nation. Campers ages 8-15 do swimming, archery, sports, STEM, nature exploration, arts, and leadership and cultural enrichment programming.

Mass Audubon's Boston Nature Center in Mattapan runs a nature day camp with outdoor exploration, hands-on activities and science education. A satellite camp was held at the British International School of Boston in 2026, and 2027 registration is "coming soon."

A family-run boys' day-and-overnight camp on a 15-acre lakefront property bordering Cape Cod and Plymouth, in operation roughly 88 years (since the late 1930s). It's a mid-size, athletics-and-waterfront-focused camp for ages 6–16, priced around $575/week for day camp, and the same grounds double as a wedding/event venue outside camp season.

Ages 3–12

Camp Cabot is the Waltham YMCA day camp at 725 Lexington Street, with age groups Caboteers (3-4), Pioneers (5-6) and Cabot (7-12). Older campers choose their own activities each week, and the camp is American Camp Association accredited and licensed by the local board of health.

Camp Emerson is an ACA-accredited overnight camp on more than 170 acres in the Berkshire Mountains of Hinsdale, next to the Appalachian Trail. Campers take electives across aquatics, arts, athletics and science and adventure, and the camp says it offers 50+ activities. Sessions run two weeks, with one-week options, and a counselor-in-training program is offered for older campers.

Camp Harbor View is a free summer camp on Long Island in Boston Harbor for City of Boston students entering grades 6 through 9. Community Boating Inc. runs a Junior Program on the Charles River in Boston for youth ages 10 to 17 who can swim 50 yards, with classes from Beginner Sailing through keelboat, Laser and windsurfing, plus kayaking, paddling, STEM classes, an Instructor-in-Training program and a Race Team.
