A small, historic (1902) boys' wilderness and canoe-tripping camp on an island in Great Pond near Rome — capped at 85–90 campers with an unusually tight overall camper-to-counselor ratio (near 2:1), a staff pipeline drawn heavily from former campers, and a stated 90% camper return rate, all pointing to a close-knit, tradition-heavy program rather than a large commercial one.
