Ages 5–14

Day camps on the 34-acre lakeside Bancroft School campus in north Worcester for campers entering kindergarten through grade 8, open to families outside the school. Ages 3–15

ACA-accredited day camp run by Belmont Day School for ages 3 to 15, with a general day camp in four two-week sessions, Journeys day-trip camp for grades 5 to 8, specialty camps and one-week sports camps. Every group has daily swim lessons and afternoon free swim, and the camp reports more than 350 campers on site each day. The summer program is described as well into its eighth decade.

A summer-long residential program for teenage boys on a 750-acre island off Milbridge, built around hands-on work crews, projects and recreation including sailing and swimming. A year-round nonprofit with a winter program in West Bridgewater, MA.

Bowdoin College's Office of Events and Summer Programs runs a studio art day camp in four weeklong sessions at the Edwards Center for Art and Dance in Brunswick. Campers are grouped by age (6 to 7, 8 to 10 and 11 to 13) and try hands-on projects that change by week, such as cardboard construction, collage, fabric art, woodworking, shadow puppetry, painting, sculpture, weaving and natural dyeing.
